Cercis Avondale
Avondale forms a compact, bushy small tree with heart-shaped green leaves that turn golden yellow in autumn. In spring, the small, bright-pink buds cover the bare branches before the leaves appear.

Sun Use
As an isolated specimen, in beds, or as a container plant.
Planting
Remove the plant from its container and thoroughly soak the root ball. Place the plant (not too deeply) in a hole with a mixture of loose soil and topsoil around the root-ball, gently tamping the earth. Water in.
Maintenance
Water well the first year. Apply an appropriate fertiliser in spring if necessary.
