Cabbage Tree. This South African tree is very drought-resistant. It has clusters of dark-green to bluish leaves at the end of its thick branches and produces long spikes of greenish-yellow blossom in summer.

Sun Use
In dry coastal gardens protected from frost, or in large containers, where the plant's growth will be restricted to around 2-3m.
Planting
In warm, sunny areas with dry soil. Plant well away from walls, fences and underground infrastructure, as the shallow root system is very aggressive.

Protect from frost.
