Furcraea quicheensis



This South-American plant is a member of the Agave family and forms a trunk topped by a crown of long, drooping leaves. This species, from the high plains of Quiche, has beautiful, non-spiny bluish foliage. At maturity, it produces a towering panicle of blossom, which marks the end of its life. Reproduces by seed.
