Macadamia integrifolia
This diminutive Australian evergreen tree can produce delicious Macadamia nuts after around 6-7 years of growth (for those grown in containers). It has slender, leathery dark-green leaves and blooms in spring with long clusters of pinkish-white fragrant flowers.

Part Shade / Sun Use
In a container that may be brought into well-lit area protected from the cold and from frost in winter.
Planting
In sun or part shade, in slightly acidic to neutral soil that is well-draining and retains some moisture year-round.
Maintenance
Ensure that the soil does not become waterlogged; reduce watering in winter. Apply a suitable fertiliser in spring to encourage flowering and fruiting. Prune lightly in early spring to maintain the plant's shape.
