Planting
In sun, shade or part shade, in ordinary soil that retains some moisture in summer. Tolerates lime, and is also relatively drought-tolerant once established.
Maintenance
After flowering, prune back branches that have flowered to 1/3 of their length. The plant may be pruned severely every 2-3 years to encourage a compact form.
