Vitex Chicagoland Blues®
This Vitex variety has attractive, aromatic grey-green foliage, and is quite drought-tolerant once established. It is bushy and more compact than the species, and blooms at the end of summer with tall spikes of lavender-blue blossom, much to the delight of pollinators.

In beds, borders and containers.
Planting
In full sun, protected from cold and drying winds, in ordinary, even poor soil that is well-draining. Tolerates drought once well-established.
Maintenance
Water regularly until well-established, when the plant will be quite tolerant of dry conditions. Protect from intense cold and frosts.
